Linda Davidson, VP/Branch Manager/ Sr Residential Mortgage Loan Originator with Service First Mortgage began her career in 1997 and quickly found her passion. Growing up in government housing, Linda understands from experience how blessed that she is to create home ownership for hundreds of families every year.    Because of her passion for low to moderate buyers, Linda and most of her team members have their FHA DE underwriter certification, which gives them a unique position in the marketplace. Linda is also a contributing planning member with The Duncan Group.

Linda has been included in DMagazine Best Mortgage Professional for multiple years, was honored by Mortgage Professional America to be among 50 Women Who’ve Made Their Mark On The Industry and has been voted by a local newspaper as the Top Mortgage Team in the area for the last 17 years.    In addition to her extensive knowledge of FHA, she is an expert and “Go To” person for USDA and VA, as well as Texas Vet (TVLB).  Although she is known as the “Government Queen”, she averages 40% of her business in Conventional mortgages because of her reputation as the expert in her marketplace.  

Linda is not only a Top Producer in her company but also manages and leads the top producing branch.   Her proven systems and mentoring have increased her branch Loan Officers’ production, as well as her own, year after year and it is exciting for her to facilitate an environment of growth for others.  

Interesting details about Linda that most people don’t know is that she is a licensed minister, she used to direct a 100 voice choir and her first job at age 16 was selling Avon products door to door.    Linda credits her faith and perseverance that she learned from her mom as well as The Duncan Group and Building Champions for much of her success. Married to her husband, David, she is the proud mother of two sons, two step-sons, and grandmother of eight.  Linda is also very active in her community and church.
